PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT

For the purpose of this Privacy Policy, “Personal Data” means any information relating to an identified or identifiable individual. There are two cases where you may share your personal information with Global Patients:

  • When you sign up to be a Global Patients member
  • When you participate in one or our studies

In both instances, we will clearly indicate whether and why we ask you to provide Personal Data, and we will gain your consent for storing and (and sometimes) sharing your personal data with third parties.

  • Personal Data Provided by You

We ask you to provide certain Personal Data when you register with Global Patients through our website including your name, email address, phone number, date of birth, and gender. This personal information helps identify which studies will be suitable for you, and allows us to contact you when a new study is available.

In addition, we may collect Personal Data that you provide when you participate in a study or in connection with the receipt and redemption of rewards and incentives. Such information includes a unique respondent identification number that we assign to you when you join our database and the responses you provide when completing the survey. We will obtain your explicit consent to the processing of your sensitive Personal Data. We will always tell you how we will store this data, and with whom we will share this data with.

Please note that not at any point will we disclose your name, email address or phone number to any third parties (included our clients) unless we obtain explicit consent from you to do so.
