Adelphi Values, a health research organization that works with pharmaceutical companies, is conducting a study to better understand the experience of patients who have warm autoimmune hemolytic anemia (wAIHA) and immune thrombocytopenia (ITP) and how having wAIHA and ITP affects their lives.
We are looking for adults who have either wAIHA or ITP to participate in a single 60-minute interview to discuss the experience of having wAIHA or ITP and how it affects daily life. We would also like to get feedback on a few questionnaires that are meant to assess the wAIHA and/or ITP experience.
You will receive £110 for completing the 60-minute interview.
You may qualify to participate in this study if:
• You are 18 years of age or older;
• You have a confirmed diagnosis of wAIHA or ITP;
• You are fluent in English (i.e., able to speak, read, write, and comprehend); and
• You are willing and able to participate in an audio-recorded 60-minute interview via telephone or web-enabled teleconference.
During this study, no medication will be administered. Taking part in an interview will not replace or affect any care or assistance you are currently receiving or may receive in the future. Any information you provide during the interview will be reported in a way that protects your privacy by avoiding any mention of your name or any other information that could identify you.
