We are looking for people with a medical diagnosis of Alopecia Areata (AA), to take part in a study investigating the impact of AA on health-related quality of life. This also includes people who are receiving or have received an oral treatment.

The study will involve a 1-hour interview during which you will be asked how AA impacts your health and everyday life. You may also be asked to review descriptions of health states describing the symptoms and impacts of AA to get your feedback on whether they are accurate.

You will be reimbursed for your time if you are eligible and take part in the interview. Your participation would remain confidential and only anonymised data will be used. This research is conducted by Acaster Lloyd Consulting, an independent research consultancy. The research sponsor’s identity will be revealed at the end of the survey to avoid bias in the research results.
