GP0384D ADPKD Diary study in the US

Are you an adult with ADPKD?

A new research study is seeking adults 18 and older in the US who have been diagnosed with autosomal dominant polycystic kidney disease, or ADPKD. The purpose of the study is to gather input on what is important to include in a questionnaire that will be made for patients to record experiences with the frequency and urgency of urination. This study is sponsored by Otsuka Pharmaceuticals. This study does not include any treatments.

What is involved?

Participation in this study includes a single, 60-75-minute interview by telephone or videoconference with the option of a webcam. During the interview, a researcher will ask you about your experience with urination. All study participants will receive $100 in exchange for their time.

Who can participate?

You may be eligible to participate in this study if you:

  • Are bothered by frequent and urgent urination
  • Are taking tolvaptan (Jynarque®)
  • Currently live in the United States
  • Are able to provide confirmation of your diagnosis of ADPKD
